A Moment is any video 3 minutes and under that lands in your Moments feed in the Content Applet or in the Moments section on mobile.
You can upload your videos as-is, but if you want to make sure your details aren't hidden by text or icons, following a template helps. Whether you're designing in a video editing tool or getting ready to upload, use our layout tips and safe zones to keep your main focal points centred and looking polished.

Safe zones
Keep it in the green: make sure your key content, important text, and captions stay safely inside the green areas so they never get blocked by descriptions or reactions.
Resolution & dimensions: Stick to the universal standard of 1080x1920px when editing your video. Because mobile screens come in all shapes and sizes, this resolution ensures your Moment fits most devices cleanly.
Exclusion zones
Watch out for overlays: Avoid placing your key content, text, or captions where they might overlap with the description, and reaction or comment icons.
The top section: Keep important visuals clear of the very top of the screen to prevent them from being hidden behind mobile clocks, status icons, and front camera notches.
Creating captions
Speed up creation: You can easily add captions using your favourite video editing software.
Let AI do the heavy lifting: Tools like Canva offer built-in AI features to help you generate captions quickly. Just remember to double-check that your auto-generated text stays inside those safe zones!
Top-tips
Captions are key: Add captions whenever possible so your audience can watch on the go, even with sound off. Whether they’re commuting or at work, captions make sure everyone can follow along anywhere, anytime.
Moments from your people: If you want to get your team involved in creating social and creative content, share this template, safe zones, and tips with them so everyone is on the same page.
Quick team uploads: Make it super simple for your team to upload a Moment by adding a dedicated menu button that links straight to the upload screen.
Keep people browsing: Attach related content directly to your Moment from the publish settings page (also known as the meta-data page) to keep viewers engaged and exploring more after watching.
Quick access for everyone: Make it super simple to jump straight into the Moments feed by adding it right to your mobile navigation bar. A System Manager can turn it on by going to Actions > Configure > Site Settings > Devices > Navigation Bar, toggling it on, and saving.
