No. Permissions are managed on an area-by-area basis, giving you full control over access across your intranet.
The exception is Absences, where holiday approval settings configured at the company level can cascade down to the areas below.
Top tip: When creating a new area, select Copy security settings to duplicate the permissions from its parent area.
