The profanity filter automatically takes care of removing unwanted profanities from comments made against content, keeping the language used clean.
To enable it, you must be assigned the Site Organiser or System Manager permission. Navigate to Actions > Configure and then Site Settings > User. Toggle on the Profanity Filter and click OK at the bottom to save the changes.
The filter works by using asterisks to censor any language that isn't acceptable, alongside notifying Social Moderators. Clicking the notification will take the moderator to the comment where they can view the comment in full. If required, the comment can be restored.
