The Facts Applet is a handy way to share facts about your organisation, tips of the day or just something fun. You can set it to show a new fact each day or switch things up every time the homepage is viewed.

Before you begin:
- You'll need to be assigned the Site Organiser permission to be able to add custom facts
- You'll need to be assigned the Homepage Manager for the area you'd like to add the applet
Creating custom facts

Navigate to the Actions button and then Configure. From the menu, find the Site Content section and select Manage Facts. If you would prefer to use our stock collection of facts, skip ahead to adding the applet to a homepage.

Any previously added facts will be listed alongside the user who created it and the creation date.

To get started, select the + New Fact button. Type in your fact and then hit OK to save.
- To delete a fact, click into it and then Delete.
Adding the Facts Applet to a homepage

Navigate to the page options in the top-right of the homepage and select Edit this homepage

Click the pencil toolbox and find the applet. Drag and drop it onto the homepage where a blue line appears
- To configure the applet, hover over it and click the three dots in the top-right

Edit the title and choose an icon. By default, the applet is called Facts. Alternatively, switch the title off.

Choose how frequently you would like the fact to update. From the drop-down, select Every View or Every Day.

Choose your source: Stock or Custom. The Stock collection includes over 10,000 unique facts. Custom will showcase the facts added from your Configure Menu.
- Once configured, click Close on the applet to save and Publish the homepage in the top-right corner.
