Content can be shared to Microsoft Teams channels, Oak messenger and Email, via a direct link. The share icon is available on any content or homepage in Oak, however this needs to be enabled in the intranet first.

How to Share Content
-
Find the Share icon in the top-right corner of a homepage or content item
-
Click on the icon to view the share pop-up, where you can choose from options such as Teams, Oak Messenger, and Email. These options may vary depending on the enabled settings.
-
Email: Enter a message to include with your shared content, then search for and select the users or groups you want to share the content or homepage with. Click Share next to each user or group to send the email immediately.
-
Teams: The first time you share to Teams, you will need to Connect. Follow the authentication process, and once confirmed, you won't see this message again. Add your own message and select teams/channels to share the link. The link to the page will then appear in the relevant channel.
-
Oak Messenger: Add a message and search for threads (chats), or click Share to send to recent contacts
-
To simply share the link to the content or homepage, select the Copy icon and paste it into your chosen platform
Note: The recipients must have the permission to view the content in the intranet. If they do not have the permission, they will receive an error message after clicking the link.
